My Story
I used to love to burn my candles & had lots of them. One day I got a call from one of my very dear friends wanting to tell me about a great venture that she had gotten into & wanted me to get into as well. All I could think was, that I was already selling Avon & had tried my hand at Tupperware, did I really want to get into another business that I would either get tired of or not do well in? I told my friend that it sounded like a really good product, but that I really didn't want to get involded with another business right then. Besides, I counted afford the $99 it would cost to get started either. A few months went by & my friend called again to let me know that she sent me a birthday gift & wanted to know what I thought about it once I got it. Once I got it I called her to let her know that I absolutely loved it. She then asked me again if I wanted to get started on a new venture. I told her again that I wasn't sure I wanted to get into it at that time & that I really couldn't afford it at the moment. She told me that she really wanted me to be involved in such a great company & that she was willing to help me with the start fee for now. I took her up on her offer because I did love the product, the safety & health benefits it had to offer & what my customers would get out of it. I think I thought that I could just rely on website orders & not have to get out of my comfort zone to do anything more so I didn't do well at first, but I'm finally getting it. There are all kinds of possiblities, basket parties, home parties, fairs, fundraisers, home shows & referrals. I know that my business will grow with time because it isn't meant to be an overnight success. Scentsy is about friends, family, charity, generousity & the future. My very dear friend is now my director. I LOVE SCENTSY!!!!!!!
